The Police have found more links connecting Saracen, the online “syndicate” accused of fabricating and spreading hoaxes for money, with the opposition group. The Police recently arrested a woman by the name of Asma Dewi, who reportedly transferred Rp75 million to the Saracen. Asma Dewi is known as the treasurer of the Presidium of 212 Alumni—a group that was founded by those who attended the National Movement for Guarding the Indonesian Ulema Council Fatwa (GNPF-MUI) rallies earlier this year.
