The central bank (Bank Indonesia/BI) reported that lending to property sector grew by 13.9% in July this year, to Rp755.1 trillion. The said lending growth occurred in construction (+23.4%), real estate (+12.4%), housing (+7.9%), and apartment (9.1%). BI plans to issue spatial loan to value (LTV) regulation, a different treatment for each regions.
