The so-called Golkar Party Youth Movement (GMPG) led by Ahmad Doli Kurnia continues to pressure their party chairman Setya Novanto to step down. The GMPG claimed that their movement was supported by 17 executives of Golkar’s central executive board (DPP). Is this true? Can this movement grow and change the dynamics not just within the Party but also externally, particularly as it relates to the 2019 elections?
