The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) is now preparing listing regulation of small-medium enterprises (SME) while encouraging securities firms to facilitate SME’s IPO and listing. The companies classified as small-size having maximum assets of Rp50 billion while medium-size companies have assets of Rp50-250 billion. During 2010-2016, SME companies listing at IDX reached 32 companies. Number of investors for SME is set for minimum 300 investors, compared to companies at the development board with minimum 500 investors and main board with minimum 1000 investors. The SME companies are required to offer minimum 20% shares through initial public offering (IPO).
