Thousands of Automatic Teller Machine (ATM)s owned by several major Indonesian banks have been out of operation since Friday (Aug 25), following a glitch in a satellite owned by Telekomunikasi Indonesia (TLKM), the country’s biggest telecommunications company. A few banks have reported improvement. Bank Mandiri in particular have said that they would need until September 1 to get all of the remaining offline ATMs fully functional. To subscribe please click here
