The Government sets higher tax revenues for 2018, amounting Rp1,609.3 trillion, up Rp130 trillion compared to Rp1,472.7 trillion set for 2017. The income tax (PPh) is targeted for Rp852.9 trillion next year while value-added tax (PPN) is set for Rp535.3 trillion. The people with salary of Rp100-300 million will face PPh ratio increase by up to 40% while people with salary of Rp400-500 million will have less than 5% hike in PPh tax ratio.
