The investigation into the electronic identity cards (E-KTP) procurement graft case continues. The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is now focusing on examining the politicians that are allegedly involved in the case. Since the first week of July 2017, the KPK has been examining several key persons in the case including the Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna H. Laoly, and several active members of the House of Representatives. The KPK even said that they had conducted a case reconstruction to name a new suspect in the case.
