The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) has resumed trading activity this morning after the one-week Eid al-Fitr holiday. Composite index of IDX gained 0.34% to 5849 at 9.52 am Jakarta time, but trade was volatile. While most global markets traded in volatile during last week, such as Japan’s Nikkei (down 0.66%), Hong Kong’s Hang Seng (flat), Singapore’s Strait Times (flat), Korea’s Kospi (flat), and Australia’s All Ordinaries (flat). Investors are also waiting inflation data for June to be released today.
