Banking: Lending Growth Back on Track?

The Indonesian Central Bank (Bank Indonesia/BI) reported that lending grew 8.6% in May this year, reaching Rp4,453 trillion. It’s a slower growth compared to 9.4% in the previous month (April). Lending for working capital only rose 8.5% to Rp2,050 trillion, slower than 10% growth in April. Credit for investment increased 7.9%, also slower.To subscribe please click here
