Indonesia’s Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) on Wednesday (July 26) announced that the realized investment in the first half (H1) of 2017 reached Rp336.7 trillion. A 12.7% growth from Rp298.1 trillion realized in H1 last year. This achievement represents 49.6% of this year’s target (Rp678.8 trillion). Foreign direct investment (FDI) increased 5.6% to Rp206.9 trillion, or 48.2% of this year target of Rp429 trillion. Domestic direct investment (DDI) rose 26.2% to Rp130 trillion, or 52% of this year target of Rp249.8 trillion.
