Trading in stock market will resume on Monday next week (July 3) after the one-week holiday in celebration of Eid al-Fitr. Indonesian stock market reached its record high at 5,829 on June 22, but helped by late buying. Foreign investors booked a net sell of Rp2.02 trillion on Thursday last week, cutting year-to-date net buy to Rp17.37 trillion. Because nothing bad emerged in the one-week the market closed, foreign investors might return to building their investment in local stocks on the trading resumption next week (while most global markets gained this week on the volatile mood).
