Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) mulls to issue bond in the second half of this year, targeting to raise Rp5 trillion inline with its plan to revise up lending target. BRI has its bond issue program for Rp20 billion value, and it has raised Rp9.3 trillion through previous issues (April 2017 and four quarter last year). BRI has raised its lending target for this year by 2% amid the optimism over the economic development. Early this year, BRI targeted its lending to grow by 12-14%. In 2016, its lending reached Rp663.42 trillion. The Bank also expects its net profit to grow by 3-5%, from last year’s Rp26.23 trillion.
