SCG Building Materials Co. Ltd. mulls to seek strategic investors for divesting 4% shares in ceramics producer Keramika Indonesia Asosiasi (KIAS). SCG Building Materials Co. Ltd. became the controlling shareholder for KIAS since late 2011. As of mid June this year, SGG Building Materials Co. Ltd., part of The Siam Cement Group, held 96.31% KIAS shares. This share divestment aims to comply with the regulation as the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) that set a minimum free float or public’s shareholding in a listed firm at 7.5%.
