Composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) gained 0.46% to 5734 in early trade this morning, regaining after falling this week due to external factors. While Asia markets were mixed in quiet early trade Wednesday ahead of anticipated news developments in the Europe and U.S. later in the week such as the U.K. election and the European Central Bank’s monetary review of the eurozone economy. Nymex’s crude oil declined 0.2% to US$48.07 per barrel in Asian trading this morning. Gold also fell 0.19% to US$1,290.00 per ounce. Oil prices extended losses on Tuesday amid raising concerns about a political rift between Qatar and several Arab states, which could undermine OPEC’s commitment to tighten the market.
