Giant coal miner Bumi Resources (BUMI) gained contract for supplying 4.5 million tons of coal per year for Tanjung Jati B powerplant located in Jepara, Central Java, Bisnis Indonesia reported. The said contract runs for 5 years. Bumi will supply coal through its unit PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC). The contract was awarded by state electricity firm Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN). PLN also awarded coal supply contract to PT Indominco Mandiri, subsidiary of Indo Tambangraya Megah (ITMG). Indominco will supply 500,000 tons of coal per year.
