Toll Road Authority (BPJT) is now reviewing 12 toll road projects proposed by the business entities located in Java area and one section is located in Sulawesi island. BPJT’s review is focused on the financial capacity and its feasibility of funding on the said projects. Malaysia-based UEM Group Berhard is reportedly keen to construct Cileunyi-Tasikmalaya-Cilacap-Yogyakarta-Solo section (396 km). State toll operator PT Jasa Marga Tbk (JSMR) also wants to construct Demak-Kudus-Surabaya toll section, access to Patimban port, Bandung outer ring road, and Tegal-Cilacap toll section. PT Waskita Toll Road (WTR) is interested to contruct some toll road sections in East Java; Mojokerto-Mojosari-Gempol, Malang-Kepanjen, Singosari-Batu, and Bawen-Yogyakarta. WTR is also keen to construct Makassar-Maros toll section in Sulawesi.
