Bank Central Asia (BCA) is now the the biggest company in terms of market capitalization on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). At the end of trading on Tuesday (May 9) BCA’s market cap reached Rp443.8 trillion, replacing cigarette manufacturer HM Sampoerna with its market cap at Rp440.8 trillion. Telekomunikasi Indonesia is the third biggest with market capitalization of Rp437.5 trillion. BCA, part of the Djarum Group, is the second-largest bank in Indonesia in terms of assets. So far in 2017 BCA has gained 15.56% to Rp17,925 a piece, hence becoming the strongest-growing blue chip stocks.
