The Government of Indonesia urges PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara to submit the detail plan for smelter construction to the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) befor August this year. Amman has been recommended for presenting its smelter plan since February 17, 2017. The progress on smelter project is correlated to the extension of export permit for concentrates. If the smelter construction has not acchieved minimum 90% as planned, then the export permit will be revoked. Amman’s cooper concentrates export quota is set for 675,000 wet metric ton (wmt).
