The current draft of oil and gas law is set to close down The Upstream Oil and Gas Special Task Force (SKKMigas) and Upstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Body (BPMigas). The function of this said bodies will be converted to Oil and Gas Special Body (BUKMigas). BUKMigas is fully owned by the State, directly supervised by the President. BUKMigas will be created within one year since the implementation of New Oil and Gas Law.
