The Central Bank (Bank Indonesia/BI) will today release the balance of trade data for March 2017. It is expected to record further surplus. Indonesia’s trade balance recorded a surplus of US$1.32 billion in February 2017, lower than that in January of US$1.43 billion. Such lower surplus is attributable to the increasing deficit in oil and gas trade balance, exceeding the increase in the non-oil-and-gas trade balance surplus.To subscribe please click here
