National motorcycles sales fell 7.34% to 1.4 million units in first quarter of 2017, from 1.5 million units sold in the same period of last year. In March, motorcycles sales declined 16% to 473,869 units, from 563,341 units sold in March 2016. Indonesian Motorcycles Industry Association (AISI) however has revised down sales target of motorcycles this year to 5.9 million units, from initial target of 6.1-6.2 million units
