The majority of the pollsters that are conducting a quickcount on the Jakarta gubernatorial race have taken in over 90 percent of their samples. Given the results, we can say that Jakarta’s 2017 gubernatorial race will continue to a runoff, with incumbent pair Basuki “Ahok” Tjahaja Purnama and running mate Djarot Sjaiful Hidayat going head-to-head against contender Anies Baswedan and running mate Sandiaga Uno.
