While Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) and ad hoc group called itself the National Movement to Safeguard the Indonesia Ulema Council’s Fatwa (GNPF-MUI) have been busier dealing with various police investigation against their leaders, thousands gathered at Istiqlal, the largest mosque in the region, this morning. The event is reportedly organized by hard-line Muslim group Muslim People’s Forum (FUI).
