Asian markets appear set to advance on Wednesday with the Dow hitting a new record close overnight just shy of the psychological 20,000 level, Cnbc.com reported. U.S. blue-chips index Dow Jones industrial average closed up 0.46% at 19,974.62 Tuesday, a mere 25 points away from the key level of 20,000. U.S. stocks traded near record highs on Tuesday, following gains in Europe and Asia and amid a rise in oil prices.
