It looks like the ruling party PDIP is moving towards claiming their seat at the leadership of the House of Representatives (DPR) as the largest political party. The DPR’s Ethics Council’s (MKD) ordered the DPR’s Legislative Body (Baleg) to revise the Legislative Institution Law (MD3) No. 42/2014. Should the revision pass in the next DPR plenary session, PDIP will also get a seat in the leadership of the People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR).
