Cement sales in the domestic market has declined 9% year-on-year to 5.74 million tons last month, from 6.31 million tons in the corresponding period of 2015, due to slower demand from infrastructure and property projects. For Jan-Nov period, the domestic cement sales only grew 0.3% to 56.5 million tons, according to data from Indonesia Cement Association (ASI). In 2015, domestic cement sales grew 1.8% on the back of the government’s spending boost at year end.
