President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo has only been in office for a little over two years, and yet he’s faced endless row of┬ámaneuvering from his political backers and opposition. This year, in particular, has been a very eventful year for the President. He’s had to face the threat of treason, and he’s also been forced to evaluate his position in Indonesia’s Islamic political circuit. Challenges aside, the President should be grateful. The many crises he’s overseen should’ve helped him form a better picture of the stakeholders; who’s with him, who’s against him, and their motivations. This is important particularly with regards to the general election in 2019.┬áTo subscribe please click here
