Donald Trump has won the United States (US) presidential election. He will be sworn in in January, but transition of power should begin even before that. Trump’s friends in Indonesia, such as media mogul and Chairman of Perindo Party Hary Tanoesoedibjo and Deputy Chairman of Prabowo Subianto’s Gerindra Party Fadli Zon immediately congratulated the President-Elect for his victory. Both Perindo Party and Gerindra Party are members of the opposition group. President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo also congratulated Trump.
