It was mostly a peaceful rally. Majority of participants left the city after some of their leaders met VP Jusuf Kalla. Things turned ugly in the evening after some protesters attacking police and torching three police trucks. A small number of protesters managed to reach the residential area in Penjaringan, where Ahok, accused of blasphemy and immediate target of the rally, and looted some convenience stores nearby.To subscribe please click here
