Today thousands of people are expected to march in the capital city to protest the Jakarta Governor Basuki “Ahok” Tjahaja Purnama. Live news reports have already shown the masses gathering in the vicinity of the National Monument (Monas) and the Istiqlal Mosque. These protesters believe that Ahok is guilty of blasphemy after quoting a verse from the Quran in a speech some time ago.
