Recently, President Joko “Jokowi “ Widodo appointed Kiagus Ahmad Badaruddin, a career bureaucrat, as the new Chief of the Financial Transaction Reports & Analysis Center (PPATK). Prior to that, the President appointed Ignatius Jonan, a professional and former Minister of Transportation, as the new Minister of Energy & Mineral Resources (ESDM).
