The rumor that President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo would reappoint Arcandra Tahar as Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) has been growing stronger since Friday last week. The President previously dismissed Arcandra over a dual citizenship row. He was thus replaced by interim ESDM Minister Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, who is also the Coordinating Minister of Maritime Affairs.
