Over the weekend, President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo visited three regions in the Banten province, including the City of Serang. There the President celebrated the Muslim Day of Sacrifice. This presidential weekend trip is interesting given the regional election dynamics in Banten. The Mayor of Serang Tubagus Haerul Jaman has been mentioned as one of the running mate candidates for PDIP’s governor candidate, the incumbent Governor of Banten Rano Karno.
