The State Palace failed to convince public about the citizenship issue of Archandra Tahar, minister of energy & mineral resources. Cabinet members, including Wiranto, Pratikno, Luhut, and Archandra himself insisted on Archandra’s status as Indonesian, and that he had surrendered his US citizenship upon receiving offer from President Jokowi to become minister.
