Indonesia’s cement consumption grew 3.1% to 29.48 million tons in the first half of 2016, lifted mostly by stronger demand outside Java, with the exception of Kalimantan Island, as consumption in Java inched up 1.3% only. Export of cement jumped 82.4% to 630,660 tons in the first half, but not enough to boost utilization rate of factories amidst expansion of capacities from existing and new players.To subscribe please click here
