Tito Karnavian’s Nomination Confirmed

The House of Representatives (DPR) has confirmed the nomination of Commissioner General Tito Karnavian to serve as the chief of the National Police (POLRI). The DPR unanimously confirmed Tito’s nomination in a plenary session held today. The ball is now in President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo’s court. The President will have to accept the DPR’s confirmation and then officiate the transfer of power from General Badrodin Haiti (the current chief of POLRI) to soon-to-be General Tito Karnavian.To subscribe please click here
