The House of Representatives (DPR) Commission III has asked President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo to send to them the name of the National Police Chief nominee this week. The DPR would have a week to finish a fit-and-proper test and deliver their decision before the parliament enters its recess period (and before the current Chief of the National Police General Badrodin Haiti enters his mandatory retirement age).
