The government proposes a cut of around Rp50 trillion in its spending for 2016, of which around Rp10 trillion will affecting infrastructure projects. Some immediately jumped into conclussion that it will hurt the whole infrastructure program, while ignoring the fact that more funding actually entering infrastructure projects this year, even if government’s spending will decline by the said amount.
