The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) will release the inflation data for April 2016 today. The central bank (Bank Indonesia/BI) expects to see deflation in April 2016 on the back of controlled food prices as the harvest season has arrived. BI Governor Agus Martowardojo said that a central bank survey showed deflation of 0.33% month-to-month (m/m) during the first three weeks of April.To subscribe please click here
