WTI crude oil gained 3.8% to US$30.56 per barrel in Asian trading this morning, while Brent crude advanced 3.24% to US$34.4 per barrel. This lifted commodities-related stocks in the region. Nikkei 225, meanwhile, slips 0.7% after gaining more than 7% yesterday.
