After bringing CNN to Indonesia, PT Trans Media Corpora of CT Corp is now to bring another American television news channel CNBC of NBC Universal to Indonesia. The partnership was signed in Jakarta between Mark Hoffman, the chairman of CNBC and Chairul Tanjung, the CEO of CT Corp earlier this month. CNBC is not the first foreign television business channel in Indonesia. Bloomberg TV has left its footprint in Indonesia media industry since 2013, but the New-York-based television station only survived for two years.
