The central bank (Bank Indonesia/BI) announced on Friday last week that Indonesia’s official reserve asset position, as of end-December 2015, reached US$105.9 billion, up significantly from the end of November 2015 level amounted to US$100.2 billion. This is a remarkable result as the global and domestic economy is still plagued by uncertainty and volatile capital flows (in December the Federal Reserve finally raised its key Fed Fund Rate by 25 basis points).To subscribe please click here
