Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) recorded 19% growth in number of people transported by trains in Indonesia in the first eight months of 2015 to 212.2 million people. A survey by the respected Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), meanwhile, found up to 60% of travellers would use the Jakarta-Bandung speed train, moving away from other transportation modes. To subscribe please click here
