The composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended down 0.1% at 4,376 Monday (Sep. 21), but closed off its low of 4,343. The rupiah strengthened to Rp14,451 against the US dollar. Asian shares and emerging currencies fell on Monday after the U.S. Federal Reserve’s decision to keep interest rates at record lows raised fresh concerns about growth globally, particularly in China, Reuters reported.
