The construction of the second section of the Cinere-Jagorawi (Cijago) toll road is finally moving forward after a decade of delay. The acquisition of land for the project should no longer be a major issue given that around 90% of the land parcels needed for construction have been acquired, cleared, and prepared. But, if unattended properly, acquisition of the remaining parcels of land can lead to more headaches for the government and the owner of the project’s concession.
