Glencore Plc, one of the world’s mining giants, fulfilled its commitment to cut coal supply by significantly reducing output from its coal mines in Australia. In the first half, thermal coal production from Australia reached 25.9 million tons, down from 28.7 million tons in the same period of 2014.
