The Government of the Capital City of Jakarta is set to continue the development of a waterway tunnel that will connect the Ciliwung river with the Eastern Flood Canal (BKT). The 1.27 km long tunnel is expected to reduce 60m3 per second of water volume in the Ciliwung River—the average water discharge in Ciliwung reaches 570m3 per second.
