The composite index of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) dropped 1.98% to close at 4837 on Monday (June 15). Foreign investors booked net buy of Rp13.9 billion, bringing year-to-date net buy to Rp3.6 trillion. Leading the market correction yesterday were Bank Mandiri which dropped 4.8%, Astra International (-3.2%), Unilever (-2.2%), Bank Rakyat Indonesia (-2.2%), and Bank Negara Indonesia (-4.4%). Year to date, Bank Rakyat Indonesia has fallen 12.9%, Bank Mandiri lost 12.5%, Astra International fell 7.7%, and Bank Negara Indonesia declined 11.9%. While Bank Central Asia gained 0.4% yesterday. Other gainers were Multi Bintang Indonesia (+4.9%), Indosat (+2.1%), Inti Agri Resources (+3.5%), and Bank Mega (+2.2%).To subscribe please click here
