The Challenge of Reforming Indonesia’s Marine and Fisheries Sector

In March 2015 the Ministry of Marine and Fisheries (KKP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (NKB) on the Joint Action Plan to Preserve Indonesia’s Natural Resources with 19 ministries, seven related state agencies, and the Governors (their representatives) of 34 provinces. With the Action Plan MoU (henceforth the Action Plan) signed, the Ministry hoped to improve governance in the marine sector, and encourage compliance by way of harmonizing laws and regulations.To subscribe please click here
