President Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo is expected to sign a new policy imposing a levy of US$50 per ton of crude palm oil (CPO) this week. Processed palm oil products will also subject to US$30 per ton of such export levy. Malaysian, meanwhile, reimposes export duty of 4.5% on CPO, which might help cooking oil, oleochemical, and palm oil derivative producers.To subscribe please click here
